49ers Foundation

49ers Foundation

Through a partnership with the 49ers Foundation, WWFC was able to provide renovated equipment storage structures and new fitness equipment to the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula in East Palo Alto, CA in November 2018. The equipment will be used by the club's Fit Team: a student-led initiative aimed at improving the health and fitness of the entire East Palo Alto community.

"Whatever you want to do, surround yourself with people who are doing that. Whether it's sports, school, music, or art... you'll get some of those skills and be able to go out and do what you want to do" - Dennis Brown

Warriors Community Foundation

Warriors Community Foundation

The Warriors Community Foundation, Good Tidings Foundation and WWFC funded and unveiled a refurbished basketball court at Willie L. Brown Jr. Middle School. We plan to refurbish another court with the unveiling in late 2019.

This court enables kids to play basketball for at least an extra 30 minutes a day. By doing that, kids stayed off the street, didn’t play video games, and also got 30 minutes of extra exercise and learned sportsmanship skills.

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital

We are changing lives in the Bone & Marrow Transplant Unit by supporting the Child Life Services. Thanks to investments like ours, these isolated patients are still able to participate in art and music therapy, child life specialist sessions, and school.

Isaiah is a four-year-old patient with Melludoblastoma. He loves cars, drawing, and visiting the BMT activity room! He benefits from Child Life procedural support during his daily catheter dressing changes. During this time, he creates cookies and cupcakes with our specialists on their iPads. This serves as a strong source of distraction and control for Isaiah, who in turn copes incredibly well with a stressful medical intervention.

Giants Community Fund

We’ve partnered with this incredible organization since 1996. We donated over $600,000 to fund more than 40 little league programs benefiting about 12,000 participants.

“I learned the Four Bases: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership, and Teamwork. I use these in daily life; to have confidence in myself and other, to use integrity in and out of sports, to show leadership in sports as the older sibling and to have teamwork with my fellow teammates.”

– Anonymous, 13-year-old Junior Giants participant from Red Bluff
